Getting started

Choose your plan

Sefton Core for cash-pay and superbill practices, Sefton Complete for the full electronic revenue cycle: what each includes, what the trial covers, and how to switch.

Sefton has two plans. Current prices are on the pricing page; this guide explains what each plan is for.

Sefton Core

For practices that bill patients directly and give them a superbill to submit to insurance.

  • Scheduling, telehealth, Quick Dictate and Sefton Voice, notes, goals, home programs, and the family portal in 11 languages.
  • Superbills, CMS-1500 forms, and Good Faith Estimates generated from signed notes.
  • Patient payments and statements.
  • No clearinghouse connection is needed.

Sefton Complete

Everything in Core plus the electronic revenue cycle, priced per therapist per month.

  • Electronic claims through the clearinghouse with unlimited claims included.
  • Pre-submission claim scrubbing and one-click corrected resubmission.
  • Real-time eligibility, prior authorization tracking with unit budgets, claim status (276/277), ERA remittance auto-posting, denial management, and AI-drafted appeals you review and send.
  • Secondary claims and coordination of benefits.

The trial

Every new account starts a 30-day trial of the full workflow without a card. Settings > Subscription shows the days remaining. When the trial ends, choose a plan there; nothing is deleted while you decide.

Managing the subscription

Settings > Subscription shows the plan, renewal date, invoices, and the last payment. You can add a payment method, change plan, or schedule a cancellation at the end of the current period. Invoices and receipts are downloadable there. See Subscription and receipts.

Which plan is right for me?

  • You mostly see cash-pay or out-of-network families and hand them a superbill: Core.
  • You bill payers directly, or you want to stop paying a percentage to a billing service: Complete.

Frequently asked questions

Are there per-claim fees or a revenue share?

No. Sefton Complete includes unlimited electronic claims with no per-claim fee and no percentage of your revenue. Patient card payments carry only the payment processor's fee.

Can I move from Core to Complete later?

Yes, from Settings > Subscription. The change takes effect at the next billing period.
