Assigning

Click Assign home practice. Give it a title (for example “Heel raises”, “/r/ word list”, “Token board practice”), the instructions (sets, reps, cues, or caregiver guidance), a frequency (daily or a custom cadence), and optionally the goal it supports. Assign.

The Assign home practice form with title, instructions, frequency, and a linked goal.

What the family sees

The program appears in the portal’s Programs tab in the family’s language with a Mark done today button and a This week strip. A demo video link can be attached. When every program is checked off for the day the portal celebrates.

Adherence

Each program shows Active, Completed, or Discontinued and an adherence indicator; No activity this week appears when nothing has been checked off in seven days. Mark completed when the skill is achieved, or Discontinue.

Linking to goals

A program linked to a goal shows the home practice alongside the in-session data on the goal, which is useful evidence in a progress report (Goals and progress).

Frequently asked questions

Are the instructions translated for the family?

Yes. The title and instructions are translated into the family's portal language, with the original available. You write once, in your language.

What does No activity this week mean?

The family has not checked off the program in the portal in the last seven days. It is an adherence prompt, not a judgment.
